Some Fan Art I Made Today...

Not my strongest effort at fan art. Scott Pilgrim Vs The World is a great movie though. If you haven't seen it I suggest you give it a go.

The Best of the Worst...part 1

I wanna take just a second to talk about which is widely known as one the worst movies ever made. Yes, Troll 2 is very hard to watch. I have hard time even laughing at how horrible it truly is. The short version is that a family packs up and moves to a small town called , Nilbog (yes that Goblin spelled backwards). Soon after arriving people start to die. The goblins happen to love eating people. Before the victims can be eaten they have to drink a mysterious green beverage that turns them into a gooey plant substance. Apparently, the Goblins are vegetarian and prefer their meals neon green and squirming. 

The special effects could be accomplished by a 5th grade class  with paper mache and green paint. There's not much left to tell about this movie. It is very confusing and if you can watch it all in one sitting you're probably high on something. So the question is this: Why have I watched this movie 3 times? I am reminiscent of a time when this type of thing amused me. As a kid I watched this "movie" and I thought it was kinda radical. I was way wrong and should go back it time to slap myself in the back of the head. Well, if you've never seen it and would like to watch a horrible movie some rainy day... check out Troll 2. Then maybe watch the first Troll. Which happens to be a decent movie that also happens to have Sonny Bono in it.

Favorite Horror Movie # Three

This movie is a "bloody" good time. You really can't have a better laugh and see so much blood in any other movie. Shaun of the Dead has become a cult classic. Its easy to see why. It's labeled as "a romantic comedy...with zombies". That's covers it just about right. Shaun is a lovable loser about to lose his girlfriend so he decides to win her back. In the process England becomes infested with zombies. Not an ideal time to sit and have a chat about your relationship. It does happen to be a great time to be a hero and save the day. Could there be better way to prove your love? Not really... just don't get eaten in the process. This movie has plenty of laughs and an equal amount of gore. The great thing about this movie is that it has plenty of staying power. Its fun to watch whenever and you'll still enjoy it as much as the first time. If you haven't seen this movie check it out then watch the buddy cop comedy, Hot Fuzz. Its got a similar cast and is the second in a trilogy. Not sure what the third's about yet but I heard it might be an alien flick. I would suggest having a few pints while watching this one and keep you cricket mallet ready, you never know when the zombie apocalypse will begin.

This is from a World of Warcraft convention. I really have no idea what he is referring to but, this is without a doubt the biggest nerd I have ever see captured on video. On the other hand it is possible he very well could be King of the Nerds. Unfortunately, being the King of Nerds doesn't get you laid.
